Pleased to Meet You
Meet Lisa Palmer, MSW RCSW
Hi, I’m Lisa — and I’m so glad you’re here.
If you’re looking for support for you, your child, your teen, or your family, I want you to know this: you don’t have to figure it out on your own. For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside families in Calgary’s health-care system, helping them make sense of big feelings, tough moments, and the patterns that keep them stuck.
As a trauma-informed, attachment-focused therapist, my first priority is creating a space where you and your child feel safe, seen, and supported. I understand how neurodiversity, past experiences, and everyday stressors shape behaviour, relationships, and the ways families interact. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and build tools that actually work in real life.
My approach is steady, warm, and down-to-earth—you won’t find judgment here. You will find compassion, clarity, and practical strategies to help your family move toward healing and connection.
A bit about my background:
I’m a Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSW) with a BSc from the University of Calgary and a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. I’ve completed specialized training in Theraplay, Circle of Security Parenting™, CBT, DBT, and advanced training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). These approaches help me support a wide range of challenges for children, youth, and families.
Beyond the therapy room:
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me with my family—hiking, camping, cooking, and savoring time outdoors. These moments keep me grounded and remind me why supporting families in their own journeys matters so much.
Supervision & Consultation:
I also provide supervision and consultation for therapists, including:
• Supervision for new clinicians
• Support with integrating attachment-focused, trauma-informed approaches into practice
If you’re ready to explore a new way forward for you, your child or family, I’m here—and I’d be honoured to support you.
Can’t wait to meet you!

Meet Abrielle Heck, MSW RCSW
Hi, I’m Abby
And I want you to know you’re not alone in this.
Maybe your child is struggling and nothing you’ve tried is helping. Maybe you’re overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck in that exhausting loop of second-guessing every parenting decision. Maybe you’ve reached the point of thinking, “Something has to change… I just don’t know how.”
I see this all the time—loving, thoughtful parents doing everything they can, reading the books, listening to the podcasts, trying to stay patient… and still feeling like they’re white-knuckling it through the day.
We created this practice for you. For the parents trying to hold it all together while healing what they were never taught. For teens who don’t know how to ask for help. For kids whose big feelings feel too big—for them and for you.
My approach is warm, honest, and deeply human.
You won’t find judgment here.
You will find clarity, compassion, and practical tools that help you breathe a little deeper and finally see a path forward.
This isn’t about “fixing” your family. It’s about healing. And when we focus on connection over correction, everything begins to shift.
If you’re ready for support, I’m here.
Let’s figure this out together.

Beyond the therapy room
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me doing all the things that fill my cup — and sometimes spill it a little in the best ways. I’m often on a yoga mat, out for a run, or crafting something with far more enthusiasm than skill. I love camping and spending time outdoors, even when it means coming home with tangled hair and a car full of sand.
Like many of us, I spend a lot of time driving kids from one activity to the next, sipping very necessary coffee, and cheering loudly from the sidelines.
Abby
Meet Kayla Pearen, R.Psych
Hi, I’m Kayla
I want you to know—there’s nothing wrong with you for feeling overwhelmed.
I work with people who are doing their best every day while quietly wondering if their best is enough. People who are carrying so much, often without anyone truly seeing how much effort it takes. People who want to feel more like themselves again—but aren’t sure where to start.
Together, we slow things down, notice what’s already working, and build on your existing strengths. Like a river, our sessions follow the natural flow of your journey—steady, grounded, and shaped by what you need that day. I offer gentle guidance, practical coping tools, and a calm, safe space where you can breathe a little deeper and begin to feel lighter.
This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you feel supported, capable, and connected again.
If you’re ready for support, I’m here.
Let’s take this one step at a time—together.
