Who We Are

Connected Family Counselling is a small, relationship-centred therapy practice in Calgary, Alberta.

We believe healing happens through connection—not perfection. Our team blends trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and down-to-earth practicality to support families, kids, teens, and individuals with compassion and clarity.

We show up authentically. We keep things simple. And we walk with you—whether you’re navigating big feelings, parenting challenges, or family transitions.

Connection first. Skills second. Growth always.

You’re Not Alone

You don’t have to be “ready.” We meet you where you are.

Our team is real, relatable, and deeply committed to creating a therapy experience that feels supportive, grounded, and human.

We bring expertise in child development, teen mental health, trauma-informed care, attachment, and family systems — along with a genuine belief that people heal through safe, trusting relationships.

We Focus on Connection

Every emotion, behaviour, and relationship is rooted in connection to ourselves and to each other. Instead of “fixing” symptoms, we look deeper:

  • What is this behaviour trying to communicate?

  • What is the nervous system needing?

  • What patterns were learned long ago?

  • What helps someone feel safe, seen, and supported?

When we understand the why, the how becomes clearer. This is the heart of attachment-based therapy and the foundation of all our work.

Take the First Step Toward Feeling More Connected

Whether you’re worried about your child, navigating teen struggles, overwhelmed as a parent, or seeking support for yourself — we’re here. A simple conversation can help you feel more clear, grounded, and supported.

You’re welcome to book an initial appointment if you feel ready to begin therapy right away. If you’re still unsure, we also offer a free 15-minute consultation. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can share a bit about what’s bringing you here, ask questions, and get a sense of whether our approach feels like a good fit for you.

And if it turns out we’re not the right match, that’s okay. We’ll help you clarify next steps and, whenever possible, point you toward other supports or resources that may better meet your needs. Finding the right fit matters.
