Meet Lisa Palmer,

MSW RCSW

Hi, I’m Lisa

I’m so glad you’re here. If you’re looking for support for you, your child, your teen, or your family, I want you to know this - you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside families in Calgary’s health-care system, helping them make sense of big feelings, tough moments, and the patterns that keep them stuck.

As a trauma-informed, attachment-focused therapist, my first priority is creating a space where you and your child feel safe, seen, and supported. I understand how neurodiversity, past experiences, and everyday stressors shape behaviour, relationships, and the ways families interact. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and build tools that actually work in real life.

My approach is steady, warm, and down-to-earth—you won’t find judgment here. You will find compassion, clarity, and practical strategies to help your family move toward healing and connection.

Beyond the therapy room:
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me with my family—hiking, camping, cooking, and savoring time outdoors. These moments keep me grounded and remind me why supporting families in their own journeys matters so much.

If you’re ready to explore a new way forward for you, your child or family, I’m here—and I’d be honoured to support you.

Can’t wait to meet you!

Lisa Palmer
